Show me Heaven!
March 28, 2025
"Show me Heaven," she said.
"Show me the place where you dwell.
Open my eyes to Your world of love, grace, and joy."
As her eyes stayed on Him,
She could see, however small,
Blue sky and clouds of gold and splendor.
She could see the river of life flowing...
Teaming with fresh, sparkling clean, pure water
That was so alive!
Warrior Dance - Chapter 3: Discovering God
Poetry by PJ Clark
Joan of Arc was martyred on May 30, 1431.
All that she had been called to do had led her to that day.
A beautiful soul who like so many others who proclaimed God boldly,
were unjustly killed and martyred.
Misunderstood. Betrayed. Unfairly Judged. Burned at the Stake.
A victim to the Powers of the world, but God!
She would go out of this world, VICTORIOUSLY!
I think of the verse in Revelation 6:9 that speaks of those
who were martyred and God avenging those
who would be killed as they were, was completed.
"When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar
the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God
and for the testimony which they held."
One of my favorite books on Joan of Arc was written by Mark Twain.
So few people know this was his most important writing,
which took him 12 years of research and two years to write.
He wanted to get all the details and account of this
amazing, courageous young woman of God.
To God be the glory!
"Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!"
